ready for 12,700 new good construction jobs at the Port of Los Angeles
and Expo Line. All of these jobs will be covered by project labor
agreements that were unanimously approved by both agencies. This means
thousands of unemployed workers in the building trades will be headed
back to work!
This is what real economic recovery looks like.
The march for good jobs continues on March 26!
“It’s fitting we’re gathering at the LA Convention Center on March 26,
in the shadow of the new NFL stadium, where tens of thousands of good
jobs will be created for people all over LA,” said Robert Negrete,
Painter and Member of the International Union of Painters and Allied
Trades District Council 36.
