Refinery Workers Reach Tentative Agreement with U.S. Oil Companies

We are pleased to announce that our brothers and sisters from United Steelworkers Local 675 have reached a tentative agreement with the national oil companies.

“We reached tentative agreements at ConocoPhillips Statewide, including its Los Angeles Refinery, and at ExxonMobil’s Torrance Refinery as well as at BP Pipeline, BP Refinery, Ineos, and Tidelands Oil Production Company (Oxxy),” reports Dave Campbell, Secretary-Treasurer of USW Local 675. “The terms, subject to approval by the National Oil Bargaining Policy Committee and by the membership in ratification votes, include wage increases and improvements in health and safety.”

Campbell adds, “On behalf of our members, we want to thank all of you, the L.A. Federation of Labor and its affiliates, for your assistance and solidarity.”
