We are STILL Ohio!

Carmen Matanga (left) and David Matanga (right) knocked on doors with L.A. Labor in Ohio to defeat SB 5 and protect collective bargaining.

“Me and my wife both went to Ohio in November with 94 of our LA Labor sisters and brothers. We helped defeat Senate Bill 5 and protect the right to collective bargaining for Ohio public employees. The people in Ohio treated us like we were long lost relatives. They were wonderful to us and we want to be right there with the locked-out Ohio workers here in Los Angeles. We are one big family.  We’re going to do what we can for our union family.”
– David Matanga, state employee, SEIU 1000 member
