Walmart is trying to open a job-killing superstore in Burbank that will hurt good union grocery jobs.
“I’m going to Burbank City Hall on Tuesday to voice my opposition to Walmart because our LA labor movement has to stand together in order to stop Walmart. Not only does Walmart pay inadquate wages and no benefits to its hard working employees, but Walmart’s anti-union position is especially heinous in these troubled economic times. We need more good union jobs, not Walmart jobs.”
