U.S. Congresswoman Judy Chu pledges never to take
Wal-Mart money & calls on politicians to give it back

Last week at our announcement of the March Against Wal-Mart on June 30th, U.S. Congresswoman Judy Chu joined L.A. Labor’s call on all of our elected officials to not take Wal-Mart’s money and return it if they have. Congresswoman Chu stated she has never taken Wal-Mart money and will never take it. In light of Wal-Mart’s alleged $24 million bribery scandal in Mexico and corporate cover-up, Congresswoman Chu urged Los Angeles leaders to keep L.A.’s politics free of Wal-Mart’s money because of its plan to aggressively expand across Los Angeles.
Watch Congresswoman Chu take on Wal-Mart, the world’s largest corporation and employer of poverty-level jobs!
There is a growing movement to take on Wal-Mart and force it to change. Join thousands to March Against Wal-Mart and Low Wage Jobs in Los Angeles! No Wal-Martization of LA!
