Tom Morello & No Age Join the Fight Against Walmart

Tom Morello plays June 30th March Against Wal-Mart, No Age to headline benefit show night before

Musicians are joining the efforts to take on Wal-Mart and stop the Wal-Martization of L.A.! Grammy award-winning guitarist and folk rocker Tom Morello: the Nightwatchman (formerly of Rage Against the Machine) will play at the March Against Wal-Mart and Low Wage Jobs on June 30 in Chinatown. Tom Morello, an longtime advocate for workers’ issues, will open the rally with his “Union Song!”

WHERE: L.A. State Historic Park, 1245 N. Spring Street, Chinatown

Also, indie rock band No Age will headline an anti-Walmart benefit show in Chinatown the night before the march on June 29. Tickets are $5 and will benefit groups fighting to stop the Wal-Mart in Chinatown. The lineup for the benefit also includes the L.A. bands Tearist and LA Fog, plus DJs from the Chinatown radio station K-Chung, such as LA Vampires‘ Nick Malkin and the Smell co-founder Jim Smith.
