“We’re marching against Wal-Mart on June 30. At least 50 journeymen and apprentice electricians from my local union will be there. We’re having a van pool at our union. It helps with solidarity to get a group to go together.
Wal-Mart can afford to pay good wages and have good insurance. Imagine if Wal-Mart did pay good wages. Imagine how many single moms and low income families would be doing better.
I think standing up against Wal-Mart, a powerful giant, is important for us to do together. We need to fight for what is right. I hope to see you there on June 30 so we can make history!
