Join Inter-Con Security Officers Fighting for Justice at Kaiser

Security officers who work for Inter-Con are the only workers inside Kaiser healthcare facilities who do not have a union, do not make a living wage, have no access to affordable family healthcare, no sick days, or other basic needs. They don’t even have a day’s worth of paid bereavement leave.

Unfortunately, Kaiser continues to use a contractor that is under investigation for breaking the law by harassing, interrogating, and threatening employees who are demanding better conditions. Inter-Con and Kaiser are now facing federal charges alleging that they broke the law and violated workers’ civil rights.

Tell Kaiser to use a responsible, law-abiding contractor and ensure the security officers that protect their facilities have the same basic protections that all workers deserve: living wages, affordable family healthcare, and time off if they get ill.

Rally in Support of Striking Security Officers
Time: May 8, NOON
Location: Corner of Sunset and Vermont, near the Kaiser Sunset Hospital in Los Angeles.

"When my wife died a few weeks ago, I didn't even have paid leave so that I could take time off and grieve.  That's just not right.  We need the same respect that other worekrs inside Kaiser get." -- William Seals, Inter-Con security officer at Kaiser Woodland Hills.
