Our reasons for endorsing Mark Ridley-Thomas are simple - we need someone on the Board of Supervisors who will stand up for the issues of working men and women care about such as making sure we have access to good jobs, not just more poverty jobs. But beyond that, we are also members of the community with families to support. So we also care about our neighborhoods being safe, having accesses to affordable housing and healthcare. Ridley-Thomas has proven that he is the best candidate to help us address those needs. That’s why we have teamed-up with members of the community to form The Alliance for a Stronger Community, our campaign to fight for good jobs and make our communities stronger by electing Mark Ridley-Thomas to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on June 3rd.
