Every ten years, after each Census, the borders defining the congressional, state assembly, state senate, and Los Angeles city council districts are redrawn. In California and the City of Los Angeles, redistricting commissions are tasked with gathering public input into the redistricting process, and creating the new districts.
The lines were last redrawn in 2011 for congress and state legislatures, and 2012 for the city of Los Angeles.
Your participation is important.
